Situated right atop Hong Kong MTR station, the ifc complex is located well enough to allow quick access to the MTR Tung Chung Line as well as the high speed Airport Express.

Hong Kong MTR station also connects to Central MTR station, the interchange for the Island Line and Tsuen Wan Line.

ifc is accessible by the Airport Express or the MTR train at Hong Kong Station Exit F or E1.

There are more than 30 bus and minibus routes outside the ifc complex, connecting with Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and the airport.

There are 10 tram stations along Des Voeux Road Central, 3 of them are located near the ifc complex.
