It all began back in 1924 with the founder Enrico, whose extraordinary creative and manual skills soon made him a point of reference in the jewelry world and among distinguished noble families, including the Italian royal family. Enrico was succeeded by his son Damiano, a true visionary, and his wife Gabriella, who together brought about a significant transformation: that from an atelier to a fully-fledged company. The businessman succeeded in integrating traditional craftsmanship with advanced production, planning, and organisational processes. The helm was subsequently passed on to their three children – Guido, Silvia and Giorgio Grassi Damiani – who chose to continue pursuing the Maison’s evolutionary path, transforming it from a family business into an international brand, thereby combining local craftsmanship with global distribution and communication.

Damiani remains the only true internationally renowned Italian jeweler managed to this day by the founder’s family. In creating, designing and producing its jewels, Damiani continues to transcend borders, becoming one of the greatest names in luxury with its art and craftsmanship, winning as many as 18 Diamonds International Awards – a record unmatched so far.
