The design of The Glasshouse takes its inspiration from potting sheds in old country houses; a room filled with wheel barrows, rakes, terracotta pots etc. Using topiary shrubs, set in Versailles pots, camellia, salvia, jasmine, boxwood, the restaurant is set in a country house garden décor. An array of old times favorites prepared with fresh herbs, whole wheat pasta, wild fish, natural grown meats and organic fruit and vegetables, serving western cooking technique with an Asian twist.
Visited Hong Kong last month, and a friend brought me here for a nice dinner. The atmosphere is chic, modern and cosy all at the same time. If the weather allows, the outdoor seating has excellent view overlooking the Victoria Harbour.
